Named for the French Huguenots that arrived on May 1, 1562, Huguenot Memorial Park is known for its “drive-on” beach and for spending time with your family. You can reserve a pavilion, barbecue on the beach, or do some water sports like kayaking, surfing, kiteboarding, fishing, and more. Primitive camping and RV camping are available.

Please note that for the safety of both dogs and their owners, day-use customers are not allowed to bring dogs into the park. Registered campers with dogs must ensure they are on a leash and are not permitted in buildings or along shorelines (in or out of vehicles).

  • 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. [Summer Hours] Daylight Savings Time

  • 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. [Winter Hours] Eastern Standard Time

  • The last entry allowed is 30 minutes prior to park closing time.

  • NOTE: Between 6 am and 8 am, “Earlybird” or “Annual Passes” are available and are required for early entry. The Passes can only be purchased during business hours.
