One of two Oceanfront Parks managed by the City of Jacksonville, Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park is a nature lover’s paradise located right next to Mayport Naval Base. Old Florida can be found in its ancient oaks and pristinely conserved dune forests.  Boasting 447 acres of preserved land, “Hanna”, as she’s affectionately called amongst locals, holds the key to a lifetime of outdoor enjoyment.

On the North end of the Park is a beach called the “Poles” known for it’s good surf.

Camping in Hanna Park is an experience not to be missed. The campground is beautiful and there are sites for all types, from tent to RV, and even rentable cabins, all bases are covered. Online Reservation & Campground Map

Hosting one of the most famous surfing breaks on the East Coast is an area on the North end of the Park called the Poles, which divide Hanna Park from Mayport Naval Station. Other points of interest Surf Fishing and 20+ miles of biking and hiking trails, there’s something for everyone here at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park.
