About Surfing
Although Florida’s waves are not World Class, many World Class Surfers got their start here at the Jacksonville Beach Pier, [and Florida in general.] Several Professional & Amateur Surf Contest are held here each year. In October of 2021, The Super Girl Pro was held here and the Worlds Best Female Surfers showed up for the event. And in December 2021 World Champion Justin Quintal held the Loggerhead Classic here as well.
